Intercity Services has a dealership network that spans the United States.  Intercity Services, acting as the parts distributor/warehouse, pre-populates various parts catalogs through the back office component of this web application solution.  These catalogs can then be assigned to select dealerships (like a subscription model) for use in their respective eCommerce store front.  Individual dealerships also utilize the back office component to manage online orders, extend part catalogs with their own custom parts (if required), update 'feature' parts lists, etc.

The "Parts eCommerce" web application solution consists of 3 major components....

1. Back Office Component - Updating parts catalogs (with pictures), setting up feature part lists, working orders, setting up makes/models, setting up discount codes, etc.
2. Store Front Component - Used for each dealership web presence site.  Includes feature parts (home page), part navigation tree by model and category.  Other store front standard pages include contact us, shopping cart, custom part search, subscription sign up, custom part order, friend referral, etc.
3. Secure Checkout Component - Used for securely checking out part orders through the various dealership store fronts (utilizes SSL (128-bit) data encryption to protect financial transactions for all part orders).
