Oil & Gas Marketing
|
|
|
|
Software Experts .NET has a considerable experience within the oil and
gas industry. We have been actively involved in the development of oil
and gas marketing systems for our customers. This particular page will
display some sample screen shots of the oil and gas marketing system (EMS)
which were developed for our client (Calpine Corporation). Several effort
years went into the development of this internet based application which
manages gas/oil/liquids. |

|
Some points about the "Oil and Gas Marketing System" (EMS) include...
-
Companies - Manages company information for all
counterparties (purchases, transporters, markets, operators, etc.).
-
Contracts - Allows you to manage all contracts with provision
lists, alert/action lists, products, services, acquisition information,
meters/wells, quality information, scanned contract information, pricing terms,
etc.
-
Contacts - Provides for setup of your 'rolodex' of contacts
for each of your companies and contracts. These contacts can have
specific roles and job functions AND can be setup with these functions by
pipe/field.
-
Price Indices
- Provides for the setup of price indices (daily, monthly and baskets).
Includes web service interfaces for posting index price updates
automatically. Also provides daily and multi-month online graphing of
index prices.
-
Production Availability - Powerful PRE month of flow process
which provides for establishing 'expected' volumes. This 'expected'
availability process does automatically emailing of estimates and confirmations
of estimates to operators and shippers. The availability volumes entered
become the initial nomination volumes.
-

contracts). Deals have pricing formulas, meter/well (with availability,
nomination, estimated actuals and actual volumes). Deals can be setup to
'auto' roll from month-to-month. Option to send electronic email
confirmation notices. Copies of all deal correspondence (emails, etc.)
are stored with each deal. Deals can also be setup with financial
overrides (for back fill order type situations). Deals can also be setup
for WASP (weighted average sales price) netback calculations. Pricing
components can be constructed and attached to deals as other costs.
-
Routing - The core of the system is its ability to manage the
routing of volumes wherever it goes (split across multiple pipes, sold to
multiple markets, whatever). The system manages the 'molecules' and
tracks all costs (gathering, transport, keep whole, compression, etc.)
including fuel and pvr deductions. All of these are used in the automated
determination of deal margins. An unlimited number of routing segments
can be setup. Also, routing 'templates' which enable automated routing
across multiple pools with a single click.

- An unlimited number of pipes/fields can be setup and used in
the system. In addition, an unlimited number of meters/wells can be
belong to each pipe/field.

entering actuals (pipeline statements and/or truck tickets (for oil)).
