Datacenter Cleaning Proposals
|
|
|
|
Software Experts .NET has experience with the creation of a job sales
proposal system for specialized 'Clean Room' and 'Datacenter Cleaning'
businesses. This proposal application calculates and prints job proposals
based on an extensive number of variables involved in the cleaning
process. This is an internet based system and provides many features
(like running job bids over the internet, emailing job bids to customers, etc.)
that you expect to find in an internet based system. This particular page
will display some sample screen shots of the datacenter cleaning proposal
system which was developed by Software Experts .NET for our client (Sealco). |

Some points about the "Datacenter Cleaning Proposal" system include...
-
Company Profiles - This system supports setting up multiple
companies (lines of business) and their respective names, addresses and graphic
images. This is useful in situations where a company may specialize in
several types of 'cleaning' businesses (datacenter, clean room, etc). A
single system can manage the proposal and job process for each of these lines
of business.
-
Employee List - All employees can be setup on the
system. The system uses the employee list to capture job costing
information (timesheet information per employee). In addition, some of
the employees are designated as sales representatives and have their
information printed on the various job proposals.
-
Customer List - An unlimited number of customers (and/or
prospects) can be entered into the system. Each of these customers can
have an unlimited number of locations (branch offices, etc.). Each of
these locations can have an unlimited number of contacts (people) associated
with them.
-
Job List - The system supports the establishment of an
unlimited number of jobs. Jobs have their own life cycle via status code
settings (Proposal, Pending, Confirmed, Completed, Rejected, etc.). Each
job can have an unlimited number of rooms (with it's own square footage and
cleanliness attributes). Each of these rooms can have an unlimited number
of services at various service frequencies (i.e. maybe a monthly "Vacuum"
service, maybe a daily "Wipe Down Walls" service, etc. within a given
room). Designations for traffic, cleanliness and density are used in
'scaling' the calculations to match the characteristics of the room and each
specific service.
-
Job Scheduling - The system will automatically create
schedule 'grease board' entries for each job (based on rooms, their service
frequencies and customer scheduling preferences). This scheduling
component is automatically available once a proposal is approved (confirmed
status). Options also exist to enter travel preferences (fly or drive
with expected cost variables) which are used during the proposal
calculation. Additional variables can be adjusted to alter profit,
overhead and sales percentages involved in the job calculation. Manual
overrides of all calculated results are available.
-
Timesheets - Employee timesheets can be entered and saved for
later labor costing of jobs AND for export and entry in external accounting
systems.
-
Non Labor Costs - The system allows for the capture of any
type of non labor cost and allows for the cost to be associated with the
respective jobs. These non labor costs are used with job costing.
-
Job Proposal Setup Lists - The system provides for the setup
of various critical information which determines how job proposals are
calculated. This includes divisions, tax categories, service categories,
services, service frequencies, scale cleanliness/traffic/density codes, scale
factors, manhour rates, material rates, billing frequencies, billing factors,
job level defaults, service level defaults, etc.
-
Security - The system provides for establishing unlimited
business functions, users and the security rules (users to business
functions). The combination of these settings allows for a very granular
level of security against all functions available within the system.
-
Other - The system utilizes middleware which enable it to run
over the internet. This includes the ability to transmit job proposals to
clients via the internet AND/OR optionally review/update job proposals over the
internet.
